Brost Architects & Planners LTD was founded in 1968 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa by David L. Brost, Sr. In 2005, the firm moved to a new office building in Hiawatha, Iowa. We have provided architecture and planning services to the area for almost 50 years. 

David Brost, Jr. is a member of the American Institute of Architects and its Iowa Chapter. 

Brost Architects & Planners LTD practices architecture in Iowa and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). As a NCARB registered Architect, it is possible to gain licensing reciprocity anywhere in the United States. However, the process can be lengthy, so allow for plenty of time if you wish to partner with us elsewhere in the country.
